Location: Colorado Christian University CCU, Lakewood, CO
Events: All forms of Stoa speech & debate events
Additional CDC Event: Duo Impromptu
Junior Tournament: March 28, 2024 (Thursday)
Meals: Lunch and Dinner will be offered through the CCU Dining Commons
Registration
Registration Opens - Feb 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM MST
Registration Closes - Feb 26, 2024 at 11:59 PM MST
Script Submission
Script Submission EARLY Opens - Mar 8 at 9:00 AM MST
Script Submission EARLY Closes - Mar 12 at 10:00 PM MST
Script Submission REGULAR Opens - Mar 13 at 9:00 AM MST
Script Submission REGULAR Closes - Mar 16 at 10:00 PM MST
All scripts must be corrected, resolved, and approved by Mar 20 at 10:00 PM MST
Registration & Event Fees
Family Registration Fee - $15
Team Policy - $40 per debater
Lincoln Douglas - $40 per debater
Parliamentary - $40 per debater
Speech - $40 for first 3 events - $15 for each additional event - limit of 6
Duo Impromptu - $15 (does not count towards 6 speech limit)
Jr Tourney - $25 for up to 3 events, includes box lunch (ages 6-11 as of Oct 1 of competition year)
Payment & Late Fees
-Accounts not current (fully paid) 24 hours after registration close date & time incur a late fee of $30 and will be moved to the waitlist
-No Refunds after registration closes
-Partner Events are considered registered when BOTH PARTNERS are registered and fully paid
-Drop fee of $20 for each event dropped after registration closes
-Accounts not current (fully paid) by 10:00 PM MST on March 20 will be removed from the tournament
-Scripts summitted after regular submission - $30 late fee
Speech Breaks
CDC fills the semi-final and final speech rooms.
This is a NITOC Modeled Tournament
StoaUSA rules for Events, Eligibility, and Dress Code will be followed
