Every script that is submitted during Early Script Submission will be entered into a drawing to win CASH! FIVE lucky winners will be randomly drawn and will win $25 each! All awards will be announced and presented during the awards ceremony on Thursday, March 28.

TWO FOR ONE

Will you compete in the Cornfield Clash? If you have a script that was approved for the CORN tournament AND you have not changed the script in any way, you do not need to submit your scripts! Instead, please send an email to [email protected] with this information: your name, your event title(s), and your signature that you have not changed your speech. The Script submission team will verify your information and mark your scripts as approved for CDC! If your script was approved with conditions for the following tournament, you must still make those changes and resubmit. For fully approved scripts, if you send the email during the early submission period, your scripts will be entered in the drawing for Scripts4Cash!

WARNING

LATE SCRIPTS: Scripts submitted on Sunday, March 17, or Monday, March 18 will incur a $30 late fee. The late fee will be automatically billed to your account and must be paid before the start of competition. No new scripts (only corrections) will be accepted after Monday, March 18 at 11:59 pm. Any scripts not submitted by this deadline will be dropped from the event and incur an additional $20 drop fee. (Get your scripts in on time and save yourself some cash!!)

Finally, ALL scripts MUST be approved by Wednesday, March 20 at 5pm MST, in order to be eligible for competition. Your reviewer will be in touch with you at the email address that you provided to communicate any corrections that need to be made and to send you your approval. Please check your Email regularly once your scripts(s) is(are) submitted so that you can make any necessary corrections.

SIX Steps to Receiving a Speedy Approval:

1. Watch this TUTORIAL (even if you've watched it in the past. The refresher will help you do things right the first time and will save all of us loads of time!).

2. READ THE RULES for your speech event HERE (under the RULES tab).

3. READ THE SCRIPT PREP INSTRUCTIONS & OBTAIN FORMS HERE (under the SUBMISSION FORMS tab).

4. PREPARE your SCRIPT SUBMISSION FORM with your parent or coach. Include ALL initials and ALL signatures. Form MUST be current and have CDC listed as the tournament.

5. COMBINE each speech into a SINGLE file in PDF format only. Scan into a SINGLE file or use a file joiner such as ADOLIX or ADOBE ACROBAT MERGE. These are very helpful tools to have and both resources are free!
